Colegio Hispano Ingles de Las Palmas is a private international bilingual school in Gran Canaria (Spain) for students from 1 to 18 years of age that follows both Cambridge IGCSE and Spanish educational programmes. Job Description

We are looking for a qualified full-time Teacher of Economics.

Being able to teach ESL students

Focus on Cambridge IGCSE Economics and A Level syllabus.

Experience teaching Economics in KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The ability to offer some of one of these syllabus would be an advantage:

• Cambridge IGCSE Geography
• Cambridge IGCSE Enterprise

The ability and enthusiasm to organise and participate in extra-curricular and tuto-ring activities will be expected, as well as chaperone students on overseas tours.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree and Qualified Teacher Status
• Must be a Fluent English speaker or bilingual C2 level
• Knowledge of Spanish is not required but it is desirable.
• An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants.
• Advanced ICT skills: proficiency in both Windows and Mac OS is required.
• Valid EU working papers are essential.
