We provide a wide range of stimulating and challenging opportunities that our pupils embrace in both the academic and extra-curricular life of the College.

The resultant all-round education develops our pupils into well-rounded individuals who challenge themselves to ‘be our best’ in every aspect of life at the school, and beyond. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.

St Joseph’s College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and dedicated Economics Teacher to join our high-achieving and supportive department in September 2025. The successful candidate will have experience teaching A Level Economics, with the ability to teach an additional subject—such as Business or Politics—being advantageous for full-time applicants.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a committed and professional team in a department that consistently attracts large student numbers and achieves excellent results at both GCSE and Advanced Level. Our curriculum includes GCSE Business, A Level Business and Economics, and a Level 3 BTEC in Business.

At St Joseph’s College, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment, where high expectations go hand in hand with strong pastoral support. We are dedicated to helping students develop independent learning skills and practical knowledge, preparing them for success beyond the classroom. Our strong sense of community ensures that both staff and students thrive together.

What We Offer:

✅ Impeccable student behaviour in and out of the classroom

✅ Highly motivated students who are eager to learn and achieve their best

✅ A respectful and collaborative learning environment

✅ A welcoming and supportive staff team

A commitment to extra-curricular activities and pastoral responsibilities is essential. If you are passionate about inspiring the next generation of economists and want to be part of a school that values both academic and personal growth, we would love to hear from you.
