We are looking to appoint an additional teacher of Economics to join this increasingly popular department. The number of students studying economics has grown enormously and we are looking for an enthusiastic economist to help drive the department forward.

This role could suit an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an early career teacher (ECT) or unqualified teacher (UQT); ), the one thing you will have in common is a strong economics background. The ability to teach business would be an advantage but is not essential.

If you are looking to begin your career in teaching, Claremont Fan Court School has a strong reputation for valuing and supporting early career teachers. First-class support will be provided by your ECT mentor and line manager, alongside the ECT co-ordinator and assessor, as you complete your two-year induction programme.

For trainee graduate teachers, support is provided by the trainee teacher co-ordinator, who will provide effective coaching and mentoring, with the possibility of graduates undertaking their PGCE qualification through the school.

A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school is also required.

About Claremont Fan Court School

We are a co-educational School, for children from 2½ to 18 years, situated just outside Esher, Surrey. The School is set in the historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate.
