An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a successful team at one of the country’s top Sixth Form Colleges.
Hereford Sixth Form College has over 2000 full-time 16-19 students and an excellent reputation for its results and extra-curricular provision. Rated Ofsted outstanding in 2007; the College consistently achieves one of the highest Advanced Level points scores per entry of over 100 SFC’s nationally and has outstanding value added results as measured by both the ALIS and ALPS systems.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Teacher to join us and contribute to the College’s continuing success. You will be committed to a departmental ethos based on high quality teaching, excellent examination results, shared resources and mutual support.
The Engineering department is a new and small department in the college, currently consisting of two first year and two second year groups. We run the OCR Cambridge Technical qualification and have had one set of very successful results so far.
We are also recruiting for Teachers of Physics and Maths. The Maths, Physics and Engineering departments work closely together and applications from someone who wished to work across departments would be welcome. Applications from NQTs will be considered. There is also the possibility of a subject leader’s role for the right candidate. Knowledge of or experience of teaching CAD would be a welcome addition to the department.
