TEACHER OF ENGLISH & DRAMA - MPS/UPS

Required for September 2020, a well-qualified, enthusiastic Teacher of English and Drama to join our thriving and successful English Department. The expertise to teach A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies as well as English across the age and ability range is central to this post; the department makes a significant contribution to Advanced level teaching. The successful candidate will also play a leading role in producing and directing school productions.

Camden School for Girls is a successful and oversubscribed inner London comprehensive secondary school. We have been identified five times by government ministers as one of the top 100 schools in the country. The school has also been described as “outstanding” by Ofsted in all categories.

About The Camden School for Girls

Located in Camden, north-west London, The Camden School for Girls is a single-sex secondary school, offering places to girls aged 11-18. With around 1,000 students, the school has an extremely diverse student intake, reflective of the local community.

First established as a grammar school in 1871, The Camden School for Girls later became a comprehensive. Although the school is girls-only in Years 7-11, the substantial sixth form is co-educational and accepts a large number of its students from other schools in the local area.
