In 2015, Ark Kings Academy was named as the most improved academy in the country, and was rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in October 2016. In April 2017 we will move into our brand new school building - an exciting next stage of our schools’ transformation and our journey to outstanding.
We are looking to recruit a Teacher of English to play an integral part in our journey to outstanding. Your role will include:
•Supporting the Director of English in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the academy’s English strategy.
•Demonstrating commitment to raising attainment of all pupils, as part of a resilient and talented body of staff who work tirelessly every day to transform the life chances of young people
•Supporting the curriculum development, planning, teaching and assessment to secure excellent subject outcomes for all students in English in line with the academy’s targets.
•Collaborating with other English teachers across the Ark Network including working on schemes of work, resources and moderating assessments.
•Working as part of an experienced and growing team of English teachers in brand new state-of-the-art facilities.
