Job overview

We require, from 4th February 2019 until July 2019 in the first instance, a motivated, committed and dynamic teacher to join this lively and ‘outstanding’ 11-18 Foundation School and Department. We expect you will be able to teach English and Drama across the whole age and ability range in KS3 with English. Part-time 0.6 FTE - English (0.5) and Drama (0.1)

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

Location

Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
