Headmaster: Mr Nicholas Hammond is seeking to appoint a well qualified and highly motivated Teacher of English & EAL to start in January 2020.
Full-time and temporary post (maternity cover)
The British School of Paris is a non-selective co-educational school which provides British education of a high quality to an international student clientele.
The successful candidate will join a thriving and well-equipped department and will teach English from KS3 through to KS5. As EAL (English as Additional Language) specialist the ideal candidate will also demonstrate a very sound understanding of the English language and capacity to explain simply and clearly how it functions.
All applicants must be fully qualified teachers with recent experience of the British national curriculum with particular emphasis on preparing students for excellence at A Level and beyond. They should also expect to contribute fully to the wider life of the school.
They must hold a valid EU passport or have already obtained a full French work permit.

All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and we were the first school in France, from 2012, to issue all pupils from Reception Year to university-bound Year 13 with iPad digital tablets to enhance learning across the curriculum.
