Teacher of English & English as an Additional Language

The Head of Cardiff Sixth Form College invites applications for the post of teacher of English and English as an Additional Language (EAL). The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner, keen to join a high-performing and dedicated department.

The successful candidate will deliver Edexcel IGCSE English Language and Literature and EAP (English for Academic Purposes). EAP is a bespoke course which is designed to improve our students' literacy in order to achieve the IELTS levels demanded by many of the top English-speaking universities. In lessons, students participate in speaking, listening, writing and reading tasks which are based on the IELTS assessment materials and the literacy skills needed in core A-levels.
