We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with a real passion for their subject to deliver outstanding English lessons to our students. If appointed to this post, you would be teaching English at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including GCSE and A-level. The ability to teach Media would be an advantage but is not a necessity.

Mulberry UTC is an innovative, forward-thinking school where we value the talents, skills and abilities of all young people. We work closely with the other schools within the Mulberry Schools Trust and our industry partners to ensure that our students achieve excellence in both academic and technical qualifications.

You are: a teacher with strong subject expertise who can bring learning to life for our students, delivering outstanding lessons and achieving excellent outcomes while also creating connections with the world outside of school.

We offer: a supportive staff team, a state of the art building, opportunities for career progression and students who are genuinely interested, engaged and highly motivated.

We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers, or from applicants who are interested in working part time.

We recognise and value continued professional development and a wide range of training opportunities will be made available to you throughout your career with us.

To apply, please request an application pack from the Principal’s PA, Steph Murphy (smurphy@mulberryschoolstrust.org). Your completed application must use the form provided; we will not accept CVs.

Closing date: Friday 21st June 2019

Interview date: w/c Monday 24th June 2019

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and to provide satisfactory references.
