Stamford High School is seeking to appoint a temporary, part time (approximately 0.7FTE) well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join the successful English Department.
The post would suit either a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher seeking to return to teaching. A permanent full time post may be available from September 2018 for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach English to all age groups, including IGCSE and A Level. There is also an expectation that the successful candidate will make a contribution to departmental activities outside the classroom, such a lunchtime clubs or support sessions. A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extra-curricular life of the School, including boarding, is assumed. Single person accommodation may be available.
