If you are a highly motivated English teacher with a strong record of accomplishment together with the ability & commitment to teach enjoyable and challenging lessons up to A level, then this could be the role for you. There may also be the opportunity for some flexibility in matching a timetable to your skills regarding different key stages within the department.

The successful candidate will be innovative, and committed to developing fantastic opportunities for our students. You will enjoy working collaboratively within a forward-thinking department and be willing to share ideas to improve teaching and learning. You must have good interpersonal and presentation skills, be self-motivated, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.

Sharnbrook Academy is a very successful 11-18 comprehensive school located in North Bedfordshire, with a longstanding reputation for high student achievement. We pride ourselves on our rigorous academic standards, good behaviour and excellent teaching and learning.
