Teacher of English (p/t) 0.4FTE  

Fixed term - Required from January 2019 to 31st August 2019

The Governors wish to appoint an excellent English teacher, to contribute to our successful English department. The role may appeal to a teacher seeking their first teaching post or, equally, to recently qualified or more experienced teachers.  St Benet Biscop is a great place to work and provides excellent job satisfaction, as it is a very supportive environment. Pax Christi Catholic Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust comprising of St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, Bedlington and Ss Peter & Paul’s Catholic Primary Academy, Cramlington. Together we offer high quality education in a Catholic Christian environment to children from the age of 3 to 18. We have around 960 students in the main school and our Sixth Form, of over 110, expected to grown the next three years.

We work in close partnership with St Mary’s Catholic School, an outstanding school in Newcastle.
