Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented English practitioner to teach at KS3 and KS4.  Experience of A Level teaching is desirable.  We would also be interested in applications from NQT’s and from candidates with experience of teaching English as a foreign language.

Bordesley Green Girls’ School and Sixth Form is a high achieving, oversubscribed girls’ school in Birmingham and has been graded an ‘Outstanding’ school in all areas by Ofsted (February 2014).

We are a newly designated Teaching School and National Support School and are working on an exciting project to develop a national centre for CLIL “Learning Through Languages UK” with key partners.

We have a culture of delivering high quality support and CPD - you will be guided through your professional development by expert colleagues, and in turn have the opportunity to share good practice.
