Hockerill Anglo-European College is currently ranked third in the Times Schools Guide 2019 list of comprehensive and partially selective schools, based on our IB and GCSE performance in 2018. Last summer, our Year 13 students gained an average point score of 35 points, while 15% achieved 40 points or above, which placed them in the top 5% globally and equated to 4A* at A Level. Our GCSE results are also consistently high with 52% of students achieving A*-A/9-7 in 2018. Hockerill performs very strongly in Progress 8 scores.

The College is situated in Bishop’s Stortford within the beautiful landscaped grounds of a former teacher training college and is within 30 minutes of both London and Cambridge.  We have a roll of 841 students, both day and boarding, including a sixth form of 250 students.  Hockerill has topped the state school Sixth Form league tables for the past four years.  

This position is open to qualified teachers, including NQTs. Full Time and Part Time applicants will be considered.
