We are looking to appoint an inspirational English teacher to join our successful team at Cromwell Community College. The successful candidate will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, and possibly KS5. Knowledge of teaching the AQA English literature A-Level would be an advantage, but is not essential.
We are a popular, growing and successful school. Pupils enjoy their English lessons and staff are hardworking, enthusiastic and committed. This is an excellent time to join the faculty to support the college’s drive to become outstanding. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative and well-qualified colleague who will be committed to ensuring the highest levels of achievement for our pupils at Cromwell Community College.
We are a popular, oversubscribed and successful school. We have just completed a large expansion of the secondary phase. This includes a new state of the art English block which has just opened. Additionally, we have completed and opened our new primary phase meaning that we are now the first all-through (4-18) school in Cambridgeshire. It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and wants to work collaboratively with the primary phase in addition to further improve GCSE and A Level outcomes.
If you are enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate about English and recognise its importance for the development of all pupils, and will strive to provide excellent results in our already successful faculty, we would like to hear from you. Cromwell Community College offers the chance to join a strong and experienced team and for you to develop your skills and enhance your career development through a wealth of CPD opportunities which is a particular strength of the Trust.
The Academy and the Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. We expect all staff to actively share this commitment. All appointments will be subject to the taking of satisfactory references and enhanced criminal record clearance in line with the need to create and maintain a safe culture in our recruitment.
Applicants are thanked for their interest in Cromwell Community College. Please note that only candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted. We are unable to accept CVs.
