An opportunity has arisen for a qualified teacher of English to join the School to teach across all key stages. The post would suit applicants with a passion for Drama who may wish to teach up to A Level in the future.

Chesham Grammar School is a successful and highly sought after co-educational grammar school with 1,272 students on roll (396 in the Sixth Form).

The School covers a site of about 20 acres, encompassing Chesham Leisure Centre, and is classed as ‘within an area of outstanding natural beauty’. Chesham is in the Metropolitan Line and from there, or nearby Amersham, Central London is around 35 minutes away. It has an attractive High Street with a range of retail outlets.

Chesham Grammar School’s reputation is based on the highest academic standards. Pupils thrive in the balanced co-educational atmosphere and are encouraged to accept responsibility as individuals. Our rich cultural life allows pupils to express and develop the flair that will distinguish them as adults. We were awarded Humanities College status in 2007.

We have a highly developed pastoral system that actively offers support from Year 7 all the way through to University entrance.
