Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Teacher of English to join our team as soon as possible.
At this key time in the Trust’s development, we require an ambitious and determined individual to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, raise achievement in English and secure the best possible outcomes for our young people, staff, families, schools and the wider community. The role will be based in one of our Doncaster academies, so the post holder must be willing to travel to any of our academies in Doncaster including Ash Hill Academy, De Warenne Academy, Don Valley Academy, Rossington All Saints Academy and Serlby Park Academy.
You will be a great English teacher who, through focused teaching, has a proven impact of success. You might be someone at the beginning of your teaching career who wants to work in an innovative organisation. Knowledge or experience of teaching Eduqas specifications is desirable as is an understanding of the changing demands of course specifications and regulatory bodies.
The successful candidate will be able to access the extensive resources, continuing professional development and career opportunities available across Delta Academies Trust. We invest heavily in training our teams, and we hope that teaching colleagues will be able to develop into highly effective department leaders, academy leaders or Subject Directors working across the Trust.
For an informal discussion about this position, please call Jane Marshall, Senior Director of English, on 07791 546409.
Closing Date: Monday 19th February at 12 noon
Delta Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding the welfare of its students and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
