Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of English on a full-time permanent basis from January 2022/as soon as possible. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established trust which was created in March 2015 by a group of like-minded schools. Two schools have since joined them, further strengthening an already thriving trust.
The successful candidate will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students, maintaining high expectations of all learners. All teachers within the English department at are determined to get the best from their diverse cohort of students, ensuring they can all learn without limits and the ideal candidate must also advocate for success for all. This will be achieved through planning and delivering engaging lessons, which will inspire learners to succeed with the opportunity to teach across both KS3 and KS4.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who genuinely enjoy teaching, have a love and passion for reading and who have a commitment to continuing to improve students’ achievement and attainment. They are ambitious for students and take great pride in being a positive and supportive learning community.
The Successful Candidate:
• Good honours degree
• Qualified teacher status
• Ability to teach all ability groups, meeting the needs of all students including those with SEN
• To have a thoroughly up to date knowledge of the delivery and assessment of subject specifications and National Curriculum
• Good or outstanding teacher
