Teacher of English

Notting Hill & Ealing High School, one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools, has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Teacher of English to contribute further to a flourishing English Department in both its curricular and extra-curricular activities.

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate of English with a passion for the subject and excellent subject knowledge, with good organisational and time management skills.

English is a popular and successful subject throughout the different stages of the school, and our results at GCSE and A Level are consistently outstanding (80% of all GCSE grades were 9s last year).  

We run multiple whole school events throughout the year, including World Book Day and National Poetry Day, and visiting speakers enthuse and inspire pupils. We have a responsibility to the whole school curriculum to ensure that the literacy skills of our students are of an excellent standard.
