SWCHS has been judged by Ofsted as outstanding and has a national reputation for innovative educational practice. We hold “Gold” awards from Sport England and the Arts Council and encourage all staff to take part in, and lead, extra-curricular events.
Applications are invited from dedicated and energetic teachers who understand the imperative for the highest standards. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
A recruitment package, including some financial assistance, is available. We operate a childcare voucher scheme and there is an early years nursery on site.
NQTs can expect a reduced timetable with timetabled mentor sessions, paid employment during July, regular NQT team meetings and support for an MEd in your second year with us. All RQTs are also offered coaching.
