Teacher of English (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join our thriving English department for at least two terms from September 2021. The post would suit an experienced teacher or someone earlier in their career, to whom support would be given. The post is full-time but we would consider a part-time appointment for the right candidate. 

The successful applicant will be

• A warm and effective communicator, committed to ensuring that all pupils make excellent progress. 

• Able to motivate and inspire pupils 

• Organised, efficient and dedicated

The current post-holder spends a part of their timetable working with small groups of children on raising their literacy attainment in conjunction with the SEN Department. An interest in taking this on would be advantage but is not a prerequisite.
