Job overview

Chelsea Independent College is an independent day and boarding college for students aged 14 to 19, located in vibrant and fashionable Chelsea and Fulham.

At CIC, we develop individuals. Our highly experienced staff are passionate about identifying each student’s genuine interests and talents and harnessing that potential to prepare them for success at university and beyond.

College life is a rounded and fulfilling experience. Academic study is integral to life at Chelsea Independent College, however our students’ time with us is enriched far beyond the classroom through the diverse range of sports, clubs and societies on offer. The relationship between staff and students is based on mutual respect and shared ambition, and is a key ingredient to their shared success.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of English Language and Literature to join our team next academic year to teach GCSE and A-level students.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit either an accomplished teacher with the skills and experience to develop the department or for an ambitious person who is relatively new to teaching and who can see potential in making their mark on the college. You will be working alongside like-minded colleagues and guided by experienced managers.

Salary is commensurate with the post and experience brought by the applicant.

This is a full time, permanent position with start date in the latter half of August 2019.
