                             (to cover a maternity leave)   From September 2018 – (for one academic year)

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED as a good school with outstanding Behaviour and Outstanding Leadership and Management; by the DfE as a Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. In 2017 our Progress 8 Score was + 0.72; whilst at post 16 89% of our students achieved A*- C grades and 70% achieved A* - B grades. 

 The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified English specialist. The successful candidate will also be a person with ideas, drive for excellence and very good teaching skills.  

The English Department is successful across all the Key Stages with a large uptake at ‘A’ Level. The successful applicant will be supported in a strong and well-resourced department. All rooms have interactive whiteboards, excellent resources, and the services of an administrative assistant.
