Job overview
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated English teacher to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will have a passion for English and the ability to plan stimulating lessons where students make good progress. You will join a friendly and supportive English Department who are committed to improving outcomes for our students. We offer an excellent induction and support programme for both new and well established teachers. Applications from NQTs are welcome. In June 2016 we were judged by OFSTED to be ‘Good’ in all areas. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment, which values talented, committed staff and offers excellent professional development opportunities. We are highly committed to managing teacher workload and offer a fortnightly home-based PPA session to all teaching staff. We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and from NQTs, for whom the school runs a comprehensive induction programme.
