Teacher of English/Humanities

South Nottinghamshire AcademyNottinghamshire

TEACHER OF HUMANITIES / ENGLISH (KS3)

Required from January 2022 fixed term for two terms

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English / Humanities to join our fantastic school for a 3-day role, initially fixed for two terms which may be extended. The post could suit an NQT as well as a more experienced candidate.

In 2016, South Nottinghamshire Academy moved into its £10 million brand new school and became part of the successful Redhill Academy Trust. We are an increasingly popular 11-18 school located in the village of Radcliffe-on Trent near Nottingham and in February 2017, we again secured a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement in all areas of inspection, with an aspiration to become outstanding at our next inspection.

The Academy is a member of The Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such, there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region.

For a discussion about the role, please contact Mrs Sharp (Assistant Headteacher) on the academy telephone number.

An application form can be downloaded from our academy’s website or by contacting Miss H Longstaffe at h.longstaffe@snacademy.org.uk

This role involves working in regulated activity with children and an Enhanced DBS clearance is required for the successful candidate of this position.

Closing date for application: Monday 6 December at 12 noon
