The Saint John Southworth Catholic Multi Academy Trust was established in September 2021 by its founding members, the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Cadogan Street. Our mission is to create a community of schools, built in solidarity and operating by subsidiarity, to give our pupils all they need to grow.

The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified Teacher of English.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupils and experience of teaching a broad range of abilities to include A Level English. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs, and the successful candidate will be supported fully in their career and professional development.

As we often have many applicants, we regret that we will only be able to contact those applicants who are short-listed  for interview. Therefore if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, then please assume you have  not been short-listed for interview on this particular occasion.

Short-listed candidates will be called for interview upon receipt of application and we may therefore appoint before  the published closing date. We advise you to submit your application as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
