FULL TIME TEACHER OF ENGLISH MPS
An opportunity has arisen for a full time teacher, holding Qualified Teacher Status, to join the English department at Lord Derby Academy.
You will be able to deliver English to pupils across the ability range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an ideal opportunity for a Newly Qualified Teacher seeking their first post in an exciting school or an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity. The post is to start in September 2017.

As a teacher of English you will be part of a friendly and dedicated department. Staff hold high expectations for all pupils and work tirelessly to raise attainment and achievement. The English department are committed to raising the profile of English across the school.
English is taught to all Key Stage 3 pupils and they follow a pathway to develop their investigative skills and make links to the wider world. The department is well established and offer a range of extra-curricular clubs.
All Key Stage 4 pupils study AQA GCSE English Language and AQA GCSE Literature.
