The role 

Vision for Education is currently recruiting an experienced English teacher to join a Secondary School based in Preston. 

Your main goal will be to create a supportive learning environment which will help your students meet their learning goals. Through interesting and diverse methods, you’ll teach them the important rules of reading, writing, and speaking in English. You’ll oversee their progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades, in order to provide useful feedback.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will be a subject specialist in English . Whether you are an experienced teacher or an NQT looking to professionally develop your skills – this role would be suitable for you. 

This role will start January 2022 and on a fixed term contract

The school is situated on the outskirts of Preston and prides itself on high level teaching and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful English Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements 

To be considered for the English Teacher position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE and or A level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
