Diocese of Leeds Teacher of English (MPS/UPS) Permanent and full time

Required for September 2017.  The Governors of this high achieving, oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy seek to appoint a graduate teacher of English to join a very successful department.    

You will be enthusiastic, proactive, committed to high standards and expected to teach English Language and Literature at key stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach English Language and/or English Literature at ‘A’ level.  Applications from NQTs or more experienced teachers are welcomed.  

St. Mary’s is a popular and highly successful school situated on the North West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales.  The school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust which consists of the high school and 9 primary schools.  We became a Teaching School in October 2015.
