Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding English teacher to teach at key stages 3 to 5 and to support the continuing development of the English curriculum and department.
The successful candidate will need to:
• be able to plan and deliver consistently good (or better) lessons
• ensure that agreed policies and procedures for learning and teaching are implemented
• actively contribute to the teaching of English across all age and ability ranges
• remain informed of current developments in the subject area, to participate in INSET and to initiate change where appropriate.
• promote the principle of equal opportunities in the College
• promote a single College ethos.
