Lord Derby Academy follows a traditional three year Key Stage 3 curriculum and two year Key Stage 4 curriculum. All Key Stage 4 pupils study AQA GCSE English Language and AQA GCSE English Literature. Academic results have been on an upwards trajectory since Academy conversion and the 2017 pupil cohort secured record results for the school for the BASICS Measure and for Progress 8. Enrichment in English is flourishing.
As Classroom Teacher for English, you will be part of a vibrant, dedicated and ambitious team. Staff hold high expectations for all pupils and work tirelessly to ensure the best possible provision for all.
The successful candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status.
