This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, co-educational independent day school on the outskirts of Bristol. We are looking for a dynamic and highly capable Teacher of English to join a popular and successful department and contribute to the wider life of this busy holistic school community. This post is to cover maternity leave and is therefore offered as a temporary contract for a maximum of 52 weeks, starting 1st November 2021 and expected to continue until the end of the Summer Term 2022.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and a great communicator with an excellent knowledge of KS3 and GCSE English.
This position would suit either an NQT or a more experienced teacher seeking an opportunity for professional development. We are a thriving and happy co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 to 18, located just north of Bristol. At Collegiate we have approximately 800 pupils, with our Preparatory School accommodating pupils from Nursery to Year 6, and the Senior School accommodating students from Year 7 up to our Sixth Form.
