Teacher of English, Hall School Wimbledon

Due to our continued expansion, Hall School Wimbledon, a vibrant and proudly non-selective co-educational day school, is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational Teacher of English for September 2023. The ability to offer other subjects at Key Stage 3 level will be an advantage. 

The successful candidate will possess an excellent degree in English and be able to demonstrate both the ability and passion to teach this important subject at Key Stage 3 in our senior school, with the opportunity to offer others subjects at Key Stage 2-3.

Occupying a charming campus in the heart of Wimbledon, HSW offers a contemporary and innovative education in a nurturing environment, designed to enable all pupils to flourish and become independent learners for life. We are defined by our outstanding pastoral care here at HSW and our desire to tailor our teaching to meet the needs of every individual. We have small classes of 15 pupils with a wide range of learning abilities. Our staff are highly supportive and caring. Subject expertise is fundamental, but we are also looking for someone who is approachable, creative and fun. We are seeing a significant rise in numbers and we have exciting plans for further development.

In September 2023, we will be welcoming our first cohort of Year 12 pupils, with the launch of our new Sixth Form offer.

Early career teachers are warmly invited to apply, as are colleagues with experience in a similar role and setting.

Salary: Competitive.
