The English department is a high achieving department in our school at both GCSE and A Level. Teaching up to A Level English would be an advantage. The position will provide good opportunities for professional development for a suitably aspirational teacher, whether qualified or newly qualified to teach up to GCSE and A Level.

The ideal candidate will:

•        Be able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, and instil a love of learning English, both through practical and theory work.

•        Be part of a team and will contribute to the ongoing development of this successful English department.

•        Be comfortable promoting Catholic values and ethos, but does not necessarily have to be Catholic.
