Al Maha Academy for Boys’ is an independent, all-through school with sixth form for boys, situated in Doha in Qatar. The school provides a dual curriculum, based upon the National Curriculum for England and Wales and the Qatar national curriculum standards for Arabic language, Islamic studies and Social Studies.

AMAB has an international representation of staff from across the globe with the significant majority being western expatriates.

Al Maha Academy for Boys’ vision is to aspire towards being a progressive institution of learning experiences by offering a quality education based on an Islamic ethos that aims to serve humanity.

Al Maha Academy for Boys’ aims to offer a broad, balanced, challenging curriculum that, as well as fulfilling the National Curriculum, develops confidence, aesthetic awareness, sense of fair-play, sound moral values and self-esteem. It seeks to provide first-hand experiences that encourage the pupil to question, investigate and seek solutions, and to enhance pupils’ awareness and appreciation of cultures, including their own.

The school also aims to develop a home/school partnership as a basis for successful education in which the parents share responsibilities with the school and play a major part as co-educators of their child. It also wants to develop the child’s confidence, self-knowledge, skills and attitudes towards learning which will enable him/her to grow towards being a caring, responsible member of the wider community.
