Hampton School is seeking to appoint a highly qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of English from September 2021. Hampton’s dynamic English Department aspires to engender a love for the written and spoken word and fundamentally believes in the power of literature to engage young minds. Hampton is an academically selective school; the challenges include stretching the most able pupils up to Oxbridge level.
Hampton is one of the country’s foremost independent schools and has an extensive and thriving co-curricular programme to which a contribution to the wider life of the School is expected. The School is also rated 'exceptional' by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) for pupils’ achievements and learning.
The post would suit a well-qualified Teacher of English with experience of teaching in a highly academic setting. Hampton has its own generous salary scale and benefits package.
Accommodation may also be available.
The closing date for applications is Friday 9 April 2021 at 9am. We encourage applications as soon as possible as the School reserves the right to commence or complete the interview process at any time prior to the closing date.
Further details of the post and an application form may be obtained from the Hampton School website www.hamptonschool.org.uk. Application forms to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
