Job overview

Vision for Education is looking for an experienced Secondary School English Teacher to work with a school within Salford. The commitment is the development of the 'whole child': to seeing their students grow in knowledge, confidence and maturity.

The most important thing about the school is that they are a Catholic community where everyone is welcome. The faith is their greatest strength and sets them a great challenge each day: to find the best in everyone.  The role is to start in January 2018 until the Summer.

Ideally the candidate will be able to:

• Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts. • Record and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.

• Classroom management.

• Develop English lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum.

• Maintaining discipline in the classroom.

• Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.

• Teach KS3 to KS5
