Perryfields Academy is a vibrant and inclusive school where we are very proud of the ongoing successes and achievements of our students. Our vision is one where students aim to achieve the very highest standard they can, and everyone is supported to maximise their potential.

The thread that runs through everything we do at the school is our desire and commitment to ensure that there are opportunities for everyone, whilst supporting them to achieve excellence.

We are seeking qualified, committed and passionate practitioners to join a very successful department. Applicants should have excellent subject knowledge and experience of teaching both key stages. In return, we offer a thorough professional development programme and strong support from the both the senior leadership team and the department itself.

Successful candidates will join a collaborative, supportive and driven team who consistently achieve excellent results. The English Department is committed to delivering a curriculum that’s accessible to all and which provides the broadest possible range of opportunities for students. We want our students to become self-motivated and confident learners, who can work independently and as part of a team, whilst developing skills for life.

This is an exciting and challenging time to be teaching English at Perryfields Academy. We’re constantly adapting teaching and learning strategies to keep pace with ever-shifting changes to both the curriculum and exam board specifications.

If you’re passionate about improving life chances for students and you’d like to be a part of our dynamic English team, we want to hear from you. Please click the apply button to be taken to our careers portal.
