Chiswick School is an 11 - 19 mixed academy of approx. 1400 pupils including a large, successful 6th Form. In February 2020 OFSTED determined: "This is a good school" with outstanding features.
From September 2022 we are looking to recruit an English Teacher to join our highly successful team.
You will be joining a department that has:
- Centralised resourcing to reduce workload
- Dedicated department time for pedagogical, curriculum and knowledge focus
- Online marked homework platform
- Extensive experience in ITT mentoring
- Opportunities to develop as a leader
We welcome applications from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
What we are looking for:
• PGCE/QTS or equivalent (required)
• Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A high level of subject knowledge
• The ability to reflect on your own practice and welcome professional development
• Respect for and willingness to promote the school’s ethos and values
