We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Teacher of English, to join our talented and ambitious faculty. The ability to teach Drama would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Successful candidates will benefit from an excellent professional development programme which will include highly effective induction and coaching/mentoring.

Aston Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Swallownest, Sheffield. It is supported by the multi-academy Aston Community Education Trust, which provides specialist staff and expertise for three secondary schools and nine Junior. Aston is a larger than the average-sized secondary, Aston Academy provides 1,800 places for students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.

Aston Community Education Trust was formed in May 2011 when Aston Academy, previously known as Aston Comprehensive School, converted to academy status.
