The English Faculty at Langley are an impressive team of highly skilled, highly effective professionals, made up of a combination of experienced and recently qualified teachers. A key strength of the English team is their supportive, collaborative approach to working. In our recent Ofsted report (July 2017), the English team is mentioned as one of the Faculties offering high quality learning experiences for our students. Indeed, we were delighted with the performance of the Class of 2017 and 88% of students gained 4+ in English last year. The success of the Faculty is determined by the positive relationships that exist between our students and their teachers as well as the lovely, thriving environment in which students learn.
Langley is a wonderful school to work at and learn in and as our recent Ofsted report suggests: 'Pupils are thoroughly prepared for life in modern Britain' at our school, where the holistic approach to child centred learning is valued as highly as the outcomes they eventually achieve at the end of their time with us.
