Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.
Ashmole Academy is a forward looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from governors, parents and pupils. We currently have approximately 1600 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 360. Our examination results are consistently high and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.
Required for September 2018, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of English with qualified teacher status to teach all age and ability range. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher (NQT).
English is strength of the school and the English department has a proven track record of success at GCSE and A level. In 2017, 31% of pupils achieved a grade 7 or higher for GCSE English Language and 61% achieved A*-B at A Level.
