We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, energetic and innovative Teacher of English to join our outstanding English Department. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who is committed to bringing out the best in every student. The ability to teach A Level is desirable but is not essential.

For Year 11 in 2016, 78% of students gained A*-C grades at GCSE in English and Mathematics.

We all share the same goal at The Howard, to bring out the best in our young people. As a result, students achieve highly and make very good progress. Our teaching staff are highly qualified and all are graduates or teachers with specialist qualifications in their respective subject areas. The Headteacher is supported by a team of senior leaders and curriculum areas are led by Heads of Faculty and Subject Leaders.
