The role
Sutton High School has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to play a key role within our dynamic English department. This post is offered as a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from January 2018.
Teaching up to GCSE English Language & Literature, you will provide an excellent education for your pupils, using an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources, including e-learning as well as contributing to the school’s pastoral system.
A responsibility allowance is available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate.

Sutton High School is an academically selective independent day school for 900 girls with an age range of 3 to 18 years.
