Teacher of English

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented teacher of English to join our very successful and vibrant department from September 2018. We are an Ofsted Outstanding rated school with our own Teaching School status. Swavesey achieved ‘Outstanding’ in every category in its latest Ofsted report in March 2011. The successful candidate will join an ‘Outstanding school where there is absolutely no complacency’ (Ofsted 2011).

• a reduced timetable for the first year, with three additional non-contact hours per      week

  • timetabled mentor meetings

  • access to our exceptional Teaching School CPD programme
• support for staff who wish to pursue a Masters in Education in their second year with      us.

NQTs will may also be offered the opportunity to do paid work in July in order to ensure they have the most positive start to their career.
