We are looking to appoint an imaginative, enthusiastic Teacher of English whose outstanding practice maximises student achievement across all three Key Stages. A R&R/TLR is available for suitable candidates.
The English Faculty is housed in a modern, purpose built block and benefits from the latest technology. The successful candidate will be passionate about English and will contribute innovative ways to accelerate progress in all areas of the curriculum.
The Ridgeway School is committed to ‘Inspiring learners for their future’. We are an ambitious 11-18 school with 1340 students, 220 of which are Sixth Form. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College lies just south of the M4 between junctions 15 & 16, and within easy travelling distance of Bath, Bristol and Reading. The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form College is part of The White Horse Federation Multi-Academy Trust.
All teaching staff members are given their own laptop. We provide all new staff with a coherent programme of support through induction and we have a strong commitment to CPD and career progression.

The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College has 1560 students, 200 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Wroughton.
The school was established in 1967 and was the first purpose-built comprehensive school in Wiltshire. We offer GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for students, while sixth form students have the option of studying a range of A-levels and further BTECs.
