Teacher of English (FT)
Required from September 2021
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our successful and thriving English and Drama department. This post would be suitable for an NQT seeking their first teaching post or a more experienced teacher of English. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching academic lessons to the full range of ability from Years 7 to 11 in English, with the potential to teach up to A level for the right applicant. For a candidate with relevant experience or interest, it may also be possible to include teaching of GCSE Drama and/or A level Theatre Studies (but this is not essential for applicants). We are seeking a dynamic teacher, with experience of teaching English up to and including GCSE level, to deliver ambitious, challenging lessons. The successful candidate will be an inspirational subject teacher, with enthusiasm, drive, initiative and good communication skills.
