We wish to appoint an inspiring, innovative and creative individual to join our forward thinking English Department to teach at higher GCSE standard with the desirable ability to teach to A-Level standard. 

The English Faculty is a lively and exciting place to be with a team of ten enthusiastic and committed teachers.  This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic newly qualified teacher or existing practitioner to play a pivotal role in a high-performing faculty which in 2019 once again achieved the highest percentage of students achieving a grade 4 or above in South Cumbria.

The successful candidate will be clearly in tune with our values and our ethos of “children first” and be totally committed to providing an exciting and rewarding experience in English for all our students regardless of their academic ability.  This is an ideal opportunity for an NQT, who has lots of potential, to develop into an exceptional practitioner over the next few years as part of a high performing team.  

Equal consideration will be given to both experienced teachers and NQTs.  A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all NQTs.
