An exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher of English to join an outstanding, innovative department whose results at all key stages significantly exceed national expectations. Last year the English department was ranked in the top 15% of English departments nationally for their GCSE results. 

Chestnut Grove is a high performing, 11-18, multi-cultural school in Balham, South London. Our motto is a ‘Creative Learning Community’, demonstrating a commitment to providing our students with an innovative and exciting curriculum.

 In September we will be moving into our new school building which will mark the start of a new and exciting chapter in Chestnut Grove’s history. 

This post is suitable for either a Newly Qualified Teacher, for whom there is a comprehensive induction programme, or an experienced practitioner. As the lead partner in the Wandle Teaching School Alliance, we are able to offer exceptional opportunities for professional development.
